About Save the Children

Save the Children is the world's first independent international NGO dedicated to supporting children. Founded in 1919 by British woman Eglantyne Jebb, it has worked for over 100 years to protect the lives and futures of all children.

Prioritizing the most vulnerable children, it operates in over 100 countries, reaching tens of millions of children each year. It carries out a wide range of activities through health and nutrition, education, child protection, and emergency humanitarian aid to help children live, learn, and be protected.

All activity funds are covered by donations and voluntary contributions from individuals, corporations and organizations, and national governments.
